  1. In 2020 more than 60% of all cargo shipped from or to the EU was short-sea cargo.
  1. In some States (countries) this ratio is far above 70%.

  1. Short-sea shipping is the backbone of the European economy.

Startling and stunning.


How can the EU take advantage of its extensive waterways and coastal ports? They have short sea ships (feeders) that make their transportation systems and distribution networks function. They have thousands of feeders and are building more.


What do they have that we don’t? Feeders, 


How many do we have? 000000000000000.0000000. Exactly none.


How many are we building? 000000000000.0000000. Exactly none.


Are the Europeans smarter than we are?  I guess so. In this they sure are.


Come on people!!!!!! Take your heads out of the sand and look around and learn. 


Others have what we need. 


Can we build small ships? Absolutely, so we better start yesterday instead of being lapped by our competition. Maybe we are content not to be # 1 anymore.
